Digitally altered lighting
I took the photograph used in this image in 2002 with
an Olympus C-2020 Camera. The model was photographed against a green
screen and the lighting effects where painted in afterwards. In order
to create the right dramatic impact the clothing, accessories and
weapons are real. This approach is normal for me as I try not to use
cheap costumes and props in my work. It is my belief doing so normally
lessens the end result. You don't see many pictures
like it as my approach can be expensive. I believe the outcome was
worth the cost and time involved.
